yup, my cats love them
these are a new favorite, displacing the small rabbit-fur mice (they liked to bat those around) in popularity around our house. While they can't play "floor hockey" as well with these larger ones (think large field mouse, not the tiny white mice you may have seen) they are big enough to really be properly attacked. It's just big enough they can bite it and kick it a bit. They seem surprisingly sturdy so far (only had them a few weeks).

My daughters Siberian Forest Cat and my Bengal love the mice. They are the same material as their little wool caves (my bengal likes to lay on top of his cave and flatten it out) so I think this is why they are attracted to them!

This toy excited my one-year-old more than any other mousie toy has, except for her prior favourite, which has all but disintegrated!! She carries it around, gives it to me as a gift; brings it to her bowl to share food; bats it all over the place; plays catch with it. REALLY captures her fancy!!!

The mice are heavy enough to throw, so playing fetch is a lot easier, and Izzy plays with them just by themselves. A small point, by they look realistic, so if we get the real version around here ever, she'll be ready. LOVE them.

My cats like these mice but I wish they also came in a smaller size (about half the current size). My cats like small mice they can carry around in their mouths and these are just a bit large for that.

The most wonderful mouse on the planet!
At least that's what my cat, Louise, has to say about it, which is funny because she ignored it completely for almost a week (she was a new rescue in my house so everything was uncertain in the beginning). Once she 'discovered' it, it quickly became one of her favorite toys.This is an amazing company with a beautiful handmade product (imagine!) from Nepal. My catties love to toss these mice around...the only thing that didn't hold up was the tails. All of the mice have stubs for tails now. Other than that, these mice are holding up very well.

Too big!
Maybe if you have a big cat that likes to take on a beast, they will like this toy. Stella is an average 9-10# cat and this just seems too big for her. She sniffed one, batted it around a moment and hasn't touched it since and that's been over a month ago. She does love the smaller mice we get for her though so we will continue to get her those.

Cat steals and hides them
My cat loves playing with these when I give him a new one. Then the mouse disappears. I do not know what he does with them. He just stole the last of the 4-pack of mice from the top of my dresser where I was keeping it, and promptly disappeared it also. Somewhere in my house, there is a large stash of cat toys. I guess I will have to buy some more...

I watch our cats with these and especially the mother cat, she enjoys playing with these...they live whatever material they are made from..Our only problem is the Dogs got after these and messed them up from shaking them. Love at first bite for my kitties
Super simple but amazingly effective at entertaining my cats. All three of them loved the free mouse we got with our feltcave. Especially the kitten who likes to carry it around like a dog with a bone. Buying more so everyone has their own.

New Favorite Toy
First- I thought my guys would destroy these in minutes. I fully expected to buy a new pack weekly, as one of my cats plays fetch, and the other likes to chew off identifying details.These are heavier than I expected, but soft enough to throw across the room. I expected them to be smaller; the body is around 6". the eyes are hard, but they're either one piece or WELL attached. To be clear, my guys were playful before; but they keep returning to these toys over their cat tree, perch, boxes, and tunnels. (One brings his favorite of the four to his plate, at mealtime). MASSIVE downside: the less social one learned to hiss on command when the other cat gets near his favorite mouse. Before you ask, the mice ARE identical. He'd never reacted like this before, and I attribute their interest (and Gloom's new mean streak, mouse assault pictured) to ther Merino wool smell.

Like the wool/felt, size and construction. Also liked that there was no plastic tag attached to each as there is on other mice- making them a safer choice. (Some of the ends of the plastic tags remain in the cat toys when you cut them off and thus are dangerous and also not earth-friendly.)

At first my cats tried to ignore the felt mouse. At 30 seconds they were starting to show interest. By 2 minutes they were playing with it vigorously. 15 minutes later it was lost under the couch. These mice seem to be a good weight, and the cats can sink their claws into the wool, unlike some other mice that are too smooth. I’m pretty sure the cats will be playing with these mice for a long time.

They like the rats better than the cave but not as much as the ball from another cat cave company. Suffice to say I agree w the other reviewer watch kit that they don't eat the mouse fabric or tiny pieces. Best to cut the eyes out right away, just like dangling balls on cat trees which caught on one cats tail and had her upside down, ensnared!!! Cat proof everything. Figure out what could go wrong and fix it before it does. For instance I removed all mini blinds and put in curtains. I know someone who didn't do this and she woke up one morning with her kitten strangled, caught on her mini blinds. I do t like the image that created in my brain and I was upset, but it's better to foresee problems early.

My cats love ratty!
I have two young rescue cats. They both love playing with Ratty, but one of the cats goes absolutely bonkers over this toy. Leaping in the air, tossing it across the room, pounding and stalking, carrying it in her mouth. I've only put out two of the rats so far, and both are holding up well with just a little fuzzing and frizzing. Excellent toys for feline fun time!

The wool felt is tightly woven so it resists tearing and pulling. Our cats love to bite it and tear at it with their claws and teeth, pulling the felt out. It takes awhile before the mice are unrecognizable. They are a great value toy.

I bought a felt cat cave that came with a mouse. While my 2-year-old cat Daisy rejected the cave (wanting to see out and around her), she fell quickly in love with the plump, woolly mouse: which I am glad to find sold separately here as she has nearly destroyed the first one.While Daisy has many stuffed toys, she only plays with this one. She loves the plump body, sturdy tail, and wooly texture. At night she "gifts" me back her beloved mouse: tucking it up under my chin while I sleep so I can awake to (what she clearly considers) the ultimate treat! (Since she strictly an indoor cat she doesn't get to bring her human family real mice!) Even though this mouse is durably made, our Daisy is a destroyer. Over time she has gnawed it up and ripped off the tail--so she is getting a new one for Christmas. A great Christmas present for a picky kitty!

Good sturdy buy
At first, I thought the mice were a bit heavy for the cats to play with. I placed one on the floor and left it there for a while. I thought no one was playing with it until I heard noise in the middle of the night. Two cats were playing soccer with the mouse so it appears that they do like it. I would recommend it for others.

Best mouse toy ever. Made for Mouse appeal no matter what we humans "think".
We have 3 cats and they all love these mice above any other we have got them. I think it's just the right texture, tension when biting, tail length and so on. It's not done up with bright colors which I think mean little to a cat. They hold up really well to rough play. In fact look brand new after weeks of fun. Claws can grasp the felt but it doesn't seem to rip up. They will hold it in their forepaws and rake it with their back paws. Much fun but no damage. They can grab it by the tail and toss it up in the air "for the kill". You can dangle it by the tail so they can jump up and pull it from your hand. They can (even as 6 month kittens) take it in their mouth and parade around with it. There will be more action after 3 months than before that but these are really great.

These mice are very well made! We just received them, so don't know how long they will hold up. One was played with a little and another "hidden". I'm just thrilled to have mice made out of wool - it is so good for the cat's teeth.

I received one toy rat as a present with the purchase of the company's felt cave. My kitty was completely in love with that rat. Sadly the toy didn't last long and within less than a month the nose got completely detached during one of the play sessions. Luckily I was around to see and pick it up before my kitty would nib on it which could've been dangerous as it's very small. The rat itself was not playable as it deteriorated and became so fluffy that my kitty would constantly huff at it while trying to bite it.Because she liked this toy so much I decided that I'll buy the pack hoping to nose situation was a defect or ill just toss away the toy sooner before it starts falling apart. So I purchased a pack.Now as my kitty was playing vigorously with one of these rats, she bit it as usual and I saw the eye of that rat fell out. On the picture it's pretty clear that it's a tiny bead and thank goodness I was around again to pick it up immediately before she got it into her mouth. Cats love to play with tiny little pieces as they remind them of bugs they would hunt in the wild. It's important to be mindful of that when creating such toys and for owners it's important to probably cut off any choking hazards like that from the getgo. I took the send eye of that rat off with ease as it was attached to the same thread poking out. Now my kitty can finish playing with this toy as it's already getting fluffier, and I can give her the next from the pack after cutting those eyes off. I'd recommend everyone who purchased these toys to "mutilate" them like that before giving them to your cats. Better safe than sorry.
