It's a great high quality sturdy cat bed but my cat squashes it and lays on top of it. Then I put it back into shape. It seems she likes to lay inside boxes instead. Perhaps when it gets colder she'll sleep inside her bed.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my 2 year old female Ragdoll, she LOVES it. The size is perfect, I got the Medium for up to 18 lbs, my Ragdoll is 15 lbs and there is plenty of room in there for her. This Feltcave is very well made and is worth every penny, and it even came with a free wool mouse toy that she loves, will have to get more of those.

I decided to buy my cats a felt cave being that they are super picky about cat beds and couldn’t have made a better choice. They all take turns using it and I love that it is diverse; they can either go in the cave or lay on top. One of my cats especially is obsessed. Our kitty cats absolutely LOVE the Feltcave beds and mice! They snuggle, cuddle, sleep, or lurk inside them on a daily basis. They are so comfortable for them and very sturdy. We have litter mates that sleep inside them together, so they are pretty decent size. Our big guy Fluffy loves to climb in also he's approximately 11+ lbs and he still has plenty of room for his whole body and fluff to spread out. They truly love these beds. Highly recommend!

I bought this for my 10 pound, 1.5 year old rescue Percy<3 I followed the instructions and stuffed it tight with others blankets/packaging etc for about a day or so to give the circular shape some integrity. My cat loves it! As soon as I put it out for him he immediately jumped inside and made himself at home. We have it centrally located in our house so he snuggles up in his bed when he wants to be near us but not in the mood for cuddles. My cat plays pretty rough and loves to chew on her stuff but the cave is still very sturdy despite all the kicking and chewing my cat does. I was worried that my cats wouldn't be able to fit through the opening of the Feltcave. I was wrong! As soon as we unpacked the one we initally ordered, one of my larger cats went right inside. After that, my husband insisted we order three more. We did order the medium beds, and I think they would be appropriate for all but the largest breeds. The red and blue one is my favorite of the colors we chose. (It's quite pretty.) I also appreciate the little extra surprise toy that came with each bed. The enterance is low enough to make it easy for arthritic cats to go through without issue, and the perfect size to gaurantee kitties a little privacy and security as they sleep.I was worried about the shaping since I do not own a lot that fits into the cave opening, but I found that turning the cave with towels/beed sheets/etc in it shapes it just fine.

Easy to clean and my cats love it
You have to wait an hour to puff it up again so make sure your cats don't see it. My cat is picky but as soon as she saw it she went inside and started playing. We have had it for a few months now and is holding up. She also likes to sleep on tip of it. Sometimes she sleeps inside. She likes to play inside with my other cat. It took just a few minutes after unpacking the Felt Cave for Ludo to climb right in. She is fascinated by this cave and loves to drop her toys outside of it and go in. Easy to shape if you continue to push it out for a few days. The lines will go away.She hasn’t napped for long periods in it yet but I think when winter rolls around she will spend more time inside. Made Even for Picky Cats!
I got this for my cat, Heathcliff. Heath is different than most cats. He avoids enclosed spaces. He doesn't go in boxes. He doesn't hide under blankets or sheets. He avoids his box shaped areas on his cat tree and perfers open spaces. So I was hesitant at first with buying one of these. After I opened it he was confused at first. But then I added some silvervine (he also doesn't care for catnip) and then he went inside. And ever since then he now doesn't stop. He loves it! It also came with a cute mouse toy! Heathcliff is a bigger orange cat 13.5lbs and I got him the medium and it was just perfect and had plenty of room to spare. Legit pull the trigger you won't regret it. It's cute and fun to watch my cat jump in and out of this lil cocoon :)

The kitties loves these little things, I got a medium and a large and they swap back and forth. I have noticed that the two naked kitties get into the smaller one together and play fight and it’s a mystery as to where the bed ends up because they roll around the house in it having fun. It’s a great addition, the fat one has a hard time getting in and out but I read you can just cut it but I’m not going to unless she stops using it but it’s cozy now!

This is a hit with our picky cat! He is really particular about where he naps, usually ending up in an open laundry basket or on the sofa. Pretty sure the Amazon Truck wasn’t even out of my driveway before I had this Cave-Bed out on the living room floor and our 2 year old Cat declared it as hers. Perfect for a Big Tom
We'd been looking for a cat cave big enough for our 22+ pound male flame-point Siamese. He's a big fella and even though another "cave" we tried was supposedly 'for large cats' it was much too small for him to fit inside, so he would lay on it till he turned into a saucer shape.This one is just right. It even makes him look small by comparison, lol.It came folded, in a bag, so I popped it out and placed it on the floor and within minutes he was exploring it, then settled in. The bonus felt mouse (surprise!) was a huge hit too; gonna need to order more of those. It's still a little lopsided but it's only been a few minutes and now I'll have to wait till he wakes up to shape it further.

We are very happy with our cat caves. The periwinkle color is very nice and they are very well made. Our cats have a great time playing in the caves and then tend to flatten them, and sleep in the “bowl” at night. They are a little difficult to vacuum and keep clean. I have recently tried putting them in pillow cases. They are a bit big for the cases, but it will make them easier to keep clean. It would be wonderful if one could purchase washable covers for them! Even without cases, I’d gladly buy Cat Caves again!

This is the perfect cave to spoil your fur baby with!It's sturdy, it's thick, it's warm without being stuffy, and just the perfect size! My girl is 16 lbs, so I went with the large size (also because I plan to get bigger cats in the future) and she absolutely loves it. When it arrived, I set it out for her and she climbed right in without hesitation. There's even enough room for her to spin around inside when she plays with the mouse toy that was included. The color is absolutely beautiful (I got the maroon and blue one) and it's a perfect size for any space in your home. Currently I have it near the couch where I game so my cat can watch (and judge) me, haha!I know the price seems high, but you're absolutely getting your money's worth. I have no doubt this will last forever and seeing how happy it makes my cat, I'm so very glad I finally bought it.

We purchased this for our screwball cat thinking he’d love it. He’s 5yrs and was raised with several dogs. We’re not sure he knows he’s a cat! It sat around for months. We tried putting him in it several times… along with some catnip toys, but he couldn’t wait to escape.Gave it to our daughter for her 7mo cat. She LOVED IT….both daughter AND female cat! *shrug At least it is being used now! The cat has to be coaxed out especially when it’s cold outside.Seems like a high quality product! We had one dog try to destroy it. She pounced on it, chewed it, tossed it around a bunch (no cat inside), and it didn’t show a single sign of abuse. Impressive!

yup, my cats love them
these are a new favorite, displacing the small rabbit-fur mice (they liked to bat those around) in popularity around our house. While they can't play "floor hockey" as well with these larger ones (think large field mouse, not the tiny white mice you may have seen) they are big enough to really be properly attacked. It's just big enough they can bite it and kick it a bit. They seem surprisingly sturdy so far (only had them a few weeks).

My big boy, a 22 lb longhair tabby mix, saw a medium size kitty cave that I bought for a friend's cat and was very interested in it. Wow! Usually, when I take something out of an Amazon box, my cats claim the box. Not this time. We have four wee beasties who usually reject any bed offered to them. I figured since it was almost summer, none would be interested in the caves. But I ordered two anyway. No sooner were they out of the box than they were items of interest. One cat went right in and laid down. The others just investigated. I put one cave upstairs in a corner of my bedroom. A cat spent the day in it yesterday. The other was in the living room, with another cat in it, while the remaining two cats looked disappointed that they didn't have a cave! I can see there are two more caves in our future! I ordered big ones but smaller ones would have been fine. The big one is very big. My Maine Coon Cat has lots of room in it and he is a big boy. They are well made, attractive and popular.

I have twin sister cats, with very different personalities. One loves to hide in boxes, bags and under the bed, while the other prefers always be out in the open. I barely had time to get this cat cave out of the box when Ms. Hides jumped into it and immediately sniffed every inch. Oddly, she will not sleep in this -- nor does she stay in it for very long - she literally hops in for just a few minutes, then hops out. But she does love to jump into it to play "hide and seek" ....she will see her sister begin to walk in the area of the cave, so jumps in then pops out in play attack mode when her sister gets close... which is pretty funny to watch. Ms. Hides will sleep on top of the cave, but won't sleep IN it. Her sister, Ms. Ignore It, literally took one sniff after I opened the box and walked away with a look of disdain. Other than maybe getting "body slammed" into it during their play attacks, Ms. Ignore it will not even touch the cave, much less get into it. I am going to keep it, but only because I am too lazy to go to the effort of returning it, and one of the cats does get some use out of it.

The cats love it, but it’s hard to keep clean
You can’t wash this, only spot treat, so it’s very difficult to keep clean. We bought two - one for each cat - and had to throw out one because the cat puked on it But, as the title indicates, the cats do love it and it keeps them warm. If you stick your hand in the cave to pet them you can feel a 10-ish degree warmer difference from the regular air temperature, which they love because they are always cold.

When I first got this cave I set it up and left it there for my Tux to climb into. I'd later find it all pushed down and flat so, scratching my head, I'd fluff it all up again for her to climb into and then later I'd find it all squished down again. Finally I got it! She didn't want to be in it, she wanted to lie on it. This is her rub-my-belly position on her favorite cave - I mean cushion. Definitely a hit even if it's not being used as intended.

Best cat bed I ever purchased
I have three cats with very different personalities and they all love this bed. It was an instant hit in use as soon as it was put on floor. Now I have to buy 2 more.

Buying my cat anything cat related is generally a waste. Fancy new bed? Prefers the floor or the human bed. Fancy running water fountain? No thanks, I like my plain bowl. Well- something about the Feltcave hit different for Ani. As soon as I finished stuffing it (as per instructions) and put it down, she went right in and is still there a few hours later. It's officially her new hideout! I chose the green color and I love it! Kind of reminds me of a little hobbit home in a hill- but in my living room. The shape isn't exactly perfect, but overall it improved after stuffing it and it seems really durable. I love this little felt cave! I highly recommend.

My cats most favorite gift in years
Most things I get my car could care less about and I have to return. He Uses this all the time. And the little free felt mouse that came with it. Now it’s his favorite toy. He carries it to every room. Literally wants me to throw it like a dog and runs and catches it and brings it back. I have never seen him love a toy more!
